Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare


Two months ago I read a book appellation Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.  I decided on this book because I like stories about love and tragedy love my best friend recommended me this reading.

The actions takes place in Italy, Verona. This book talks about the beautiful love of two young people. Heroes come from two disrupted family. Romeo and Juliet don't listen their parents. They are able to do everything to save their love and to stay together. The emotions shown in this story are very endearing.

The story charmed me and showed what kind of love it can be and what sacrifice it is. I recommended this book to all those who like tragedies and beautiful stories about love. Reading books is useful. I very recommended read books.

Forest Gumb by Winston Groom

Two days ago I read book called Forest Gump by Winston Groom.I decided read this book becouse it  know in the whole world and have only good opinion.


 The story talks about young boy who was borned in USA. He had only close friend, Jenny. He was cleverer than other peers but he had problems with learning  . Regardless of he achieved sukcess in his life. .He could run very fas so he became football star. He took part in war in the Wietnam and he met president of USA and other knowing person.When he came back to US, he started schrimp busines.

The Groom`s novel isvery good . The plot is intestenig and we can feel like main protagonist. In addition the book was wtitten simply language so we can read it fast and pleasantly.

In my opinion this book is recomendalbe and everybody should read it. The story shows that we should recpect every people .In addition we can know history US and a lot of konowing person.

The Diary of a young girl by Anne Frank

   I read The diary of a young girl by Anne Frank during May holiday. I decided to read this book becouse I heard a lot of positive opinions about this book and I interested in history and World War Two. The most interesting thing is that this story was happened really and this story was written by really young girl who did not afraid of soldiers and her life.

"Seven" by Bruno Anthony

One week ago  I read an great book called "Seven" by Bruno Anthony.
I decided to read it because I very like criminal and horror story. I heard a lot of positive opinions about this book.

The  book is based on the famous American thriller with the main Hollywood stars in the lead roles. According to the story, two police detectives are investigating the case of the serial killer John Doe. The maniac considers himself as the instrument of God and consistently pushes people for seven deadly sins. The killer exposes his victims to fatal physical and mental suffering, which is prepared with a cold premeditation. The sophisticated tormentor and murderer leaves only а title of the sin and a clever puzzling clue at the crime scene, allowing to find the next ‘sinner’. John Doe thinks his activity is a sermon aimed to teach the citizens a good lesson.

"About a boy" by Nick Hornby

    ,,About a boy" is a comedy book written by Nick Hornby in 1998. I read this book month ago, because I had some free time.

"The Trumpet of the Swan" E.B. White

My first encounter with "the trumpet of the swan" was completely accidental. I came to this book by browsing through a list of many titles, and I must admit that it was a happy luck to decide how to choose it. I did not even pay attention to the author, who, as it later turned out, has other titles directed primarily to the youngest. Titles such as "Tiny Stuard" and "Charlotte Web", which have been very successful not only in the home country of the author, but also around the world. It may seem that the book addressed to the youngest will not carry any greater values beyond the simple content, but in the case of books by this particular author, most of the events and words spoken by the bochater have a deeper context and affect interpersonal relationships.

The book tells the story of a trumpet's swan family, where one day the desired triplets come to the world. However, it turns out that one of the young is different from the others. Louis, because that's his name is not able to make any sounds. For his surroundings it is becoming a serious problem, because the trumpeter's tradition has just been shaken. However, the above events are only the background of the actual content. The story of Louis is a story of dissimilarity, acceptance and lack of it, a history of friendship and trust. The story created by E.B Whita is a clear transfer of situations in which we can find the best, to the fairy-tale world. In this book I was charmed by the simplicity but also by the accuracy in the assessment of interpersonal relationships, and accurate conclusions from them drawn. "The Trumpet of the Swan" made a very positive impression on me, because it consists of a simple but interesting story and a really deep message.

 Month ago I read a book called "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen. I chose this book because it reminds me of my childhood and it is one of the most famous fairy tales.

   

Princess Diana biography- Anne Collins

Book biography of Princess Diana is a very interesting and life book.

 

This book is about the experiences of Princess Diana. Even in the times of normal life and when she was already a Princess. There are many interesting threads. You can get to know the life of Princess Diana and understand her situation. In my opinion, this book is very interesting and at times touching. It's a beautiful story about Diana who was a real Princess of great. I recommend reading this book because it is really interesting to read it really nice

I read a book called 'The Long Shot' by Terry Tomscha. I decided to read this one, because I like thriller stories.

Ricky - a main character of book - and a many of high school students dream about play in the school team, which is invinicible. The dream could be came true, because it was time of selection of the players for the next season. One day, when he coming to school, he found a dangerous note in the locker. The boy accepted everything as a joke, but when he went back to home, he noted a two more suscpet letters. Then Ricky won and joined the team. After the day in school, a car hit boy. That's just a beginning...

"The Merchant of Venice" by William Shakespeare

    I read a book called "The Merchant of Venice" by William Shakespeare.
I decided to read this book because I like classic story.
    Antonio, a  well-liked merchant, decided to help his friend Bassanio got the hand of a beautiful (and rich) Portions, heiress to Belmont. That's why he borrowed money from a Jewish moneylender, Shylock. He agreed that if Antonio does not give away the loan, Shylock will cut his body with a pound. Antonio agreed to this contract because his ships with article were about to arrived. Unfortunately, ships didn't got to the port, and the loan repayment time is coming ...

"The fisherman and his soul" by Oscar Wilde

     I read the book "The Fisherman and his soul". This story was written by Oscar Wilde.
     I decided to choose this book because our english teacher recommended this author to us and to be honest I have never ever heard of this author, except that, the title was really interesting and I wondered what this story is about.

                                     The main character is, as you can guess, a fisherman.
One day, when he was fishing as always, he also caught something unusual. I will not say what it was, however by this unusual something his life has changed. Fisherman even got rid of his soul. From that time, the soul came to him every year and.. what happened to his soul?

   This story creates a reflective mood, especially in the direction of love.   

              It shows that love can appear suddenly
             It shows that love can survive everything
            It shows that love can overcome stereotypes

The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B.White

I read book called ''The Trumpet of the Swan'' by E.B. White.

I decided to read this book because I wanted to started with lite and pleasing book. I never heard about this author and that's the second reason why I wanted to read this story. I borrowed this book from library from my school.

''The Trumpet of the Swan'' is a story about the family of swans, in which a small swan is born, which is unable to bring out any sound. The newborn swan can't say anything, sing and trumpet. Swan was very sad because he wouldn't be able to sing his feelings or talk to other birds. However nothing prevents the swan to start trumpeting because his dad helped him and also helped by a boy called Sam.

While I was reading this book I I wrote in a notebook a few sentences. Especially:

..The world is full of talkers, but it is rare to find anyone who listens. And I assure you that you can pick up more information when you are listening than when you are talking''

 In my opinion this book is very emphatetic because teaches love and respect to animals. 

It also shows how to care for a human in need but in this book helped swan. Although this book dates from the children's fiction, it is worthwhile reading this, unimportant how many years we have. When I reading this book I remembered with many values in the life. I recommend this history because is inducing to reflections.

"The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde

The Picture of  Dorian Gray is a novel written by Irish writer Oscar Wilde. It follows a story of a young man - Dorian Gray who is extremaly handsome and sells his soul to a portrait in order to always remain young and beautiful.

I think this book is very interesting. It has the universal meaning which is that sometimes it's easy to forget about values like intelligence and respect for other people when we are paying attention only to the appearance. Dorian had to pay a big price for his wish to always look perfect.

I really enjoyed this book. Mostly beacuse I wanted to know what is going to happen to Dorian and other characters at the end. For some people it may be a little controversial but I highly recommend to read it, because It's  very good written and It's something a little bit different than things we can read these days.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain is an 1876 novel about a young boy growing up along the Mississippi River. I read this book, because I like this type of novels.

   It is set in the 1840s in the fictional town of St. Petersburg where Twain lived as a boy. In the novel Tom has several adventures, often with his friend, Huck. Tom Sawyer lives with his Aunt Polly and his half-brother Sid. Tom is slim and tall. He has dark, short hair and big blue eyes. He dresses blue pants, white shirt and a straw hat. Tom doesn't like going to school, but in reality he is smart and clever boy. 

One day Tom fall in love with Becky Thatcher, a new girl in town....

I really like this novel. It was very easy and surprising, reading her is a great pleasure. I like it very much, because there are many funny and surprising moments.
If you like stories like this, you must read this book. It's worth your time.

"A Study in Scarlet" by Conan Doyle

One month ago I read an amazing book called "A Study in Scarlet" by Conan Doyle.I decided to read it because I love a TV series called "Sherlock" witch is based on this book.It's a detective novel and it was written in 1886.Conan Doyle wrote it at the age of 27 in less than three weeks!I find this very impressive.

''The Sign of Four'' by Conan Doyle

,,The Sign of Four'' is detective book written by Conan Doyle. I read this book three week ago.  I chose it because I adore detective stories. ,,The Sign of Four'' is another book that tells about adventures Sherlock Holmes.

The story is about private detective Sherlock Holmes and his best friend John Watson who they're unriddling mysterious disappearance father's Mary Morstan. From the disappearance of her father, she gets a letter with a pearl every year. The last letter was a proposal to meet a mysterious sender. The woman asks for help from the Sherlock and Watson because the letter was written not to signed the police up. While unriddling, they come across the track of the sign of four and try to find out how is related to the disappearance father's Mary. 
   
I think that book is very interesting. The book is overcrowd of mystery and adventure. The author apply a lot of plot twists and unexpected events.
 
I really recommended that book. The book will go down well with anyone who likes detective story.

"Time Machine" is a science fiction novel written by H.G.Wells. I read this book one month ago. I decided to read this novel, beacuse my friend recommended it to me.

 Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

 I read The  Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad in free time.I chose this book because I am interested in historical documents, and this story is largely based on facts.

Dark allegory describes the narrator's journey up the Congo River and his meeting with, and fascination by, Mr. Kurtz, a mysterious personage who dominates the unruly inhabitants of the region. Masterly blend of adventure, character development and psychological . Considered by many Conrad's finest story.

The novella centres on the efforts of Marlow, Conrad's alter ego, to travel up an unnamed African river on behalf of his employer in order to bring back a rogue ivory trader, Mr Kurtz. 

The further upstream Marlow gets, the more intense the sense of impending danger, with cryptic warnings and a bloody ambush ratcheting up the tension. When Marlow finally reaches Kurtz's camp, he discovers a scene of unimaginable depravity. The dying Kurtz is taken aboard the boat but he does not survive the journey back downstream. With Marlow present, his chilling last words are "The horror! The horror!"

I think it is worth reading this book because it contains many interesting facts, interestingly described adventures.  As well as being an extraordinary story, Heart of Darkness contains some of the most fantastic us of language in English literature. In Heart of Darkness, we  see a style that is remarkably poetic for a prose work. More than a novel, the work is like an extended symbolic poem, affecting the reader with the breadths of its ideas as well as the beauty of its words.

The Murders in the Rue Morgue by Edgar Allan Poe

The Murders in the Rue Morgue is a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe. I read this book a two weeks ago. This is a detective novel.

The main character is a detective C. August Dupin who want to solved a mystery about extraordinary murders. That nightmare took place in a house on a Rue Morgue where was killed a mother with her daughter.

The story is very absorbing and unpredictable. This book is definitely worth reading.
I can recommend this book to everyone who likes detective novels.

"Five Famous Firy Tales " by Hans Christian Andersen

"Five Famous Fairy Tales" is short written by Hans Christian Andersen. I Decided to read this book because, when I was little girl my mother was read goodnight  to me. I want to read it again alone. Do you like to read novels ? Feel the magial atmosphere thanks to stories chosen from many generations around the word. 

One on five stories tell about a woman with three sons. They have a magical table, donkey and stick.

Chapter two tell about jealous queen with beautiful daughter and manypronces who was waiting for a bad fate.

Chapter three. There was a poor man name Hans, he had nothink but he was happy.

 Chapter four. There was fisherman he never caught many fish and had no money.

Chapter five. There was king with sons and daughter, their mother die. 

The most what I like is the clima of the action.There were thunderous moments which later woke joy.

I recommend this book because it teaches many important things in life for example to be honest.

                      William Shakespeare was the greatest english language playwright of all time.
''Romeo and Juliet'' are one of the best books based on the drama. The place of action is Italy exactly
in Verona in XVI. Lovers can not be together because their families hate each other.
                   The Montagues and Capulets families do not want to allow ever the thought that the young could be together. Romeo and Juliet do not count on the parent's opinion. Their feelings are
so great that they do not want to and can not live without each other.
                  I think that the book reflects life because such a problem can meet everyone and at different ages. The book is very emotional but very interesting. I heartily recommend this book to everyone and especially to people who do not belive in love. Because this book shows how strong love is.

"The Hound of the Baskervilles " is a detective novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I read this book a  month ago , because I wanted to read the detective novel. 

,,Silver Blaze'' by Arthur Conan Doyle

''The Adventure of Sliver Blaze'' this is a story written by Arthur Conan Doyle. I read this book a month ago and I like it.

Sherlock Holmes focuses on the disappearance of the title racehorse on the evening before the major race and on the murder of his coach.

The plot focuses on the investigation and features characteristic of Sherlock Holmes. The detective examines all details such as the dog's behavior.

I recommend this book because it has interesting characters and an easy plot.

Some time ago I read book called "About a boy" written by Nick Hornby.

 I will read  them more. This books for sure are very exciting and full of impressions. I chose this book because I saw film about it and I wanted to read and find out the details.
