Three months ago I read a book called "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
I got a homework from my English teacher and I had to read a English book.
I chose this book because it is very popular and short.
In the book, the narrator is a pilot. He meets a young boy. Mysterious boy said that he is a inhabitant of the asteroid B-612 and he wished the pilot to draw him a lamb.
Book action takes place on the Sahara.
The Little Prince told the pilot about his visits on different planets, about the rose, friendship with fox and about how he met a snake. In Little Prince's opinion „adults are very strange”- they can’t enjoy the world, they still compute something or they lie to themselves. Finally it was the moment of parting – Little Prince went to the serpent which had to bite him, then the main character could move on his planet. Narrator mentions meeting with Little Prince by which he became a better person, who looks at the world through the eyes of the child.
Book "The Little Prince" is no ordinary book. Everyone can't understand it. Content can't be taken literally. In this book there are many hidden meanings and symbols.
